Principal’s Corner

Principal Kyle Little leads the Longhorns at Reading Junior High School. With 13 years in education, including 12 years in Lamar CISD, Mr. Little has served in a variety of roles, including paraprofessional in Alvin ISD, teacher and math facilitator at Frost Elementary, assistant principal at Huggins Elementary, principal at Roberts Middle School, and now principal at Reading Junior High School. Mr. Little earned his degree from Lindenwood University and is passionate about developing future leaders while creating a school environment centered on excellence, innovation, and opportunity for all students. He believes junior high is a critical time in preparing students not only for high school, but for success beyond the classroom through character development, accountability, and meaningful learning experiences that challenge students to grow academically and personally. Outside of school, he enjoys supporting youth athletics and spending time with his family. He is proud to serve the Reading Junior High community and is committed to making Reading the model junior high campus in Texas.
